One of Canada’s Best to Tee it up in Kelowna

The Mackenzie Tour- PGA TOUR Canada GolfBC Championship is thrilled to announce that Jared du Toit, formerly Canada’s top-ranked amateur golfer, and recently turned professional, has been granted an exemption to play in the prestigious Kelowna tournament. Jared brings with him an impressive golf resume that places him as a player to watch in the Championship.

Tournament Director Hugh Vassos was ecstatic when he announced; “Jared du Toit is definitely a player on his way up to the Tour and ultimately the PGA TOUR. Okanagan golf fans are in for something special as they watch this young player participate in only his second tournament since turning professional. We are fortunate to have Jared play here and encourage all golf enthusiasts to come out and cheer him on to experience a great Canadian golf memory.”

Jared commented; “Being from nearby Kimberley, BC this is as close to a home game as it gets for me. I’m thrilled to be heading to Kelowna for the GolfBC Championship and extremely thankful to Hugh Vassos and the people at GolfBC for giving me this amazing opportunity.”

Watch Jared and more than 150 top players from around the world as they tee-off at the GolfBC Championship starting Thursday June 15th. Morning tee times start at 7:30 AM and the afternoon at 12:30 PM.
